How far is to far when it comes to satire?

I am in the beginning stages of my satire. I should warn you it does go off the deep end on some issues. but that is my personailty and that is why I named it She Crossed The Line... You can find a piece of it on my share page. If you wanna go in depth. But I have had some comments that I will never find a publisher for it since it is so brash. Is this true do satires get the cold shoulder because of their content?

Today it's almost impossible to cross the collective "line", but it is also impossible not to cross anyone's at all. There will always be uptight people. I don't see anything wrong with your work, just as long as you aren't writing it just to offend and twist up the publics panties, dig?

i read a little of your view of marriage, and totally agree, so that says to me it didn't go to far. i sniggered several times over the Disney stuff. none of what you'd written seemed to cross any lines, so stick to your guns.
