Mine got better. Well, I like to think it has. I wrote a novel-and-a-half in my teens which, frankly, wasn't very good. At the time I thought it was brilliant but...we live and learn.
Now I'm ten years older (Ha! I wish!!) I'm a little wiser, at least.
Don't worry - just write. I regret I didn't re-start sooner.
