I've got three writing projects on the go at the moment, two of which involve a friend of mine who co-creates. The agreement we have is that I do all the writing, but we come up with the storylines together. I have always credited him with his input, but we have recently started drafting letters to agents for future use and we came across a slight problem. How should we present ourselves? Should these letters be signed by me, as I will be the main point of contact should we be lucky enough to have someone of this ilk enquiring about our writing or should we use both our names, or use a pseudo name to allow us to collaboratively write under? I hasten to add each letter or pitch explains his involvement.
Any thoughts or advice are most welcome.
