made illegal not to get some response from agents/publishers that do not like your efforts instead of never ever receiving anything ever ever.

Honestly how long would it take for them just to send an email back saying NO? Even an N would do.

I mean they wouldn't have to put anything more than that. just be nice to know that they at least got my submission, and stop me wondering endlessly if they liked it. I do not even demand a reason for a rejection, it'd be nice, but heck can't you just find the time for just 3 clicks, one on my email address, one on N and one on send.

There is even a self-publishing provider advertised on this website who have not responded despite twice submitting my info to them.

I know your frustration Jeremy, but publishing is changing. The answer is usually; a) they get thousands of requests... yeah, every day. b) They do not want to strike up a correspondence because you are a crazy person who will want to break their legs if you find them on a lonely road somewhere. c) They don't need to.

Only when their body of work dries up will they come looking for us, and although it doesn't seem that way now, to every thing there is a season...

Keep going, keep writing and enjoy it. Maybe one day you'll be in a position to turn them down...
