I am sorry that this is not a question directly. But I've just read a heartwarming story about a young 13 year old girl. Who's only goal in life was to have a book published one day. Sadly this young girl Jemma Layzell, Died from a brain aneurysm. It was only after her death that her parents found her diary, were they read that one day she wanted to be a writer. Sad that this is and I am in tears as I write this. Her parents have made her dreams come true and published her diary called " Draft." Her book has been backed by Dame Jacqueline Wilson and War Horse author Michael Morpurgo, they have both praised this book. So I'm asking all my fellow writers and readers to go out and buy a copy, and try tell me you won't be moved. Remember this young girl died not knowing her dream has come true, what a fitting tribute her parents have done. Her first, last, and only book. Please take a chance and at least have a read of her story I clicked onto it through my AOL story's today page. But it is on a web page called "Parentdish" please have a look and let me know If you agree we can all get inspiration from this tragic story.
I read an article on her, it was really sad. Im glad they did that for her
How sad this is...... she has wrote her name in my heart :(
I read about this in the newspaper a few days ago. It didn't make me cry. After reading this I searched for her book on Amazon and was able to 'preview' and read the first few pages. I was only on the foreword and I cried. It is truly inspirational.
