Is it at all possible for non-UK writers to find agent representation in the UK? If yes, how?

Google UK Literary Agents. Search for agents who accept applications by email.
To get fiction accepted, unless it is exceptional, is difficult, due to the large number of applications agents receive. So, if you do submit fiction, make sure it's good.
However, I've heard, it's easier to get non fiction accepted.
Well it certainly is possible an author I know got a contract with Macmillan even though he didn't live in the UK at all. I would think one just cominicates via email with publishers and agents you actually don't even need to meet them if you really think abou it. I hope this helps I don't know much about it but I've allways thought that one could live on a remote island and have their books published all over the world:)
