I've lost my writing mojo...

Hi, as the title states, I've lost my writing mojo, and I need a nice cheering up to get it back. Anything nice would be appreciated to help me find my mojo, and I don't seem to be finding it from my non writing friends, so I have come to you fellow writers'.

I have three wonderful book ideas that are ready to be started, but the lack of enthusiasm from family and friends for my writing future and the rejection letter for my finished book (no one of the three ideas), has left me slightly sad. I know things could be worse, but please help me get my mojo back... :) :) that's all I want at this point.

Thanks :)

Mark's is a good one, but I'd like to suggest one thing. Think about- why you write. The reason you write for, the purpose, think about the outcome's it might have. What triggered you to write? This is when, you go back to your origins, so why do you write?

Think deep and think a lot, remember what you felt like, your excitement on looking at a completed piece and the satisfaction.

Writing is not easy, its a hard job. So if you want to do it, clear you head and start writing/typing. Even, if don't want, force yourself, just do it for some time. Again and again, that's what it's all about.

Music music music. Music always gets me in the mood, my favorite song or artist always inspire me and I love watching movies.

Kimberley, it happens to all of us. My only suggestions are that you go for a drive in the country, or to a beach, or a walk in the closest park. WITHOUT THE MOBILE. Listen to all around you. Fresh air always helps me. I went to a small island off Glasgow a couple of weeks ago and it gave me a great idea which I subsequently put into a story. It was probably my best. I had not written for a few months beforehand as I had lost my mojo as you put. Good luck with it, keep me posted. I look forward to reading your stories from the bookshelves.
