Just novels?

So - do you also look at nonsense poems for kids by any chance?

Edward Lear is a particular favourite of mine. T. S. Eliot another. There is also Lewis Carroll's witty prose.

The common cormorant or shag

Lay eggs inside a paper bag

The reason you will see no doubt

Is to keep the lightning out

But what these unobservant birds

Did not notice is that herds

Of bears may come with buns

To steal the bags to hold the crumbs

Anon.

I don't know to whom you addressed this question (the whole membership of W&As?) but - answering for myself and all at La Gr@not@ - the answer is a resounding YES!!!

Have a look at http://la-granota.com/crazy.htm and - if your poems don't transgress our VERY STRICT ethical code - we'd love to hear from you.

And if you have attached children (any relation) who could illustrate one or more of your poems, have a look at http://la-granota.com/tadpoles.htm
