Literary agents?

Hi everyone. I have started working on my first book and was wondering I'm I meant to finish the book before I start looking for a literary agent or could I start looking now even though I have only wrote a few chapters?

If anyone could answer that would be great :)

You con do either, but the agent requires the first 3 chapters, like Daniel mentioned. And if he's interested, he will ask for the whole manuscript and you don't want to make him wait. So, as I said you can do either of the things, but when It actually comes to contacting the agents, Its best to do so after you have the manuscript ready.
