Hi all
This is my very first post. I have been writing for years but never really got my act together to get published. Now I am making a concerted effort to get works finished.
My final intention is a book, but I am developing a collection of short stories and submissions that would probably be described as magazine article type works.
Can anyone advise about how to approach some of the big magazine houses? I want to approach IPC and Hearst but I am not sure on protocol, or who to contact within the company to advise on protocol! I don't want my submissions to end up in the bin before they've even been read!
