......oh I just wanted to share this with people who understand the elation and the slight euphoria. Ahem, I have NEARLY FINISHED my first novel. Can't imagine what I will be like when I actually DO finish. But yes, I have so very nearly finished. Actually though I'm not sure I have had enough pain, I guess that is to come when I can't get a Publisher and my words are thrown back at me as a waste of ink.........Must Calm Down tee hee.........

Congratulations, June. Very good news and very inspiring for someone who is still yet to write even the first word of his (besides the pages and pages of notes and plans and so on).
Good luck with the next stage; from what I understand you will need thick skin, patience and good fortune, in equal measure.
Congratulations June, it must be a good feeling. I'm about halfway through my novel, but rewriting the beginning. It may be preferable to find an agent first which may ease the search for a publisher.
