Hello, folks! You know... I've noticed our community section had a remarkable grown during the last weeks. Every day I read posts of new members and a higher number of questions are published in a shorter time. This make me feel pretty glad! I guess the members who have subscribed in W&A since it's begining might be thinking the same.
Let's keep growing and learning with our community, folks! :)
Compared with other on-line writing communities, this is the most adult one I've found so far. The q & a's are really relevant too and I've had some great advice so far and also feel qualified to give advice. This makes me feel part of a group of Real Writers!
If its short story tips you are after, then I highly recommend that you read Elizabeth Taylor. And I do not mean the actress. She is a brilliant short story writer. She would be in my top three of all time, alongside Chekhov. I hope Elizabethh Taylor eventually receives the recognition that she richly deserves.

Helen, Hi by the way!!
Dont rush with sharing, do it when you feel ready and know that no one here degrades other peoples work. I walked in to this in hope of critism from strangers to improve my work and thats exactly what I got , and hopefully a few friends along the way :)
People expressed their opinions and were nice about it, even if there was something that needed changing in my writing. So, even if your worried about what people say or think, know that we wont ever purposely upset you :)
