Not a good introduction to the community! I dutifully filed out my profile, couldn't find a 'save' button or similar, and promptly lost the lot. I am currently mystery woman but I promise I'm not really this dim - how do I save my profile?

Dear mystery woman, :)
If you scroll down, at the end of the profile page, there should be an "update" button to the left, right above your profile picture (if you choose to add one) with an option to upload one.
All you need to do, is press that button, if it is done successfully, then when you press the button, the page should take you back up to the top and a small green box should appear at the top center of the screen saying it was updated/saved.
