Poetry Pamphlet

Thanks for the great comments everyone - no book or anthology planned yet, simply because I have not written enough material. Does anyone know how practical/costly/viable/worthwhile it would be to produce a poetry pamphlet? Robert

Depends what you mean by a "pamphlet". If you just want to produce a small booklet of say 24 A5 pages to pass round your friends you could easily print it out and get it photocopied or printed by a local printer.

For something more ambitious there are loads of adverts for firms who will do small print runs. You need to read them carefully to see what is included in the price e.g. proof-reading, editing, publicity, sales etc. Or you can put your work on the web - on your own blog or self publish with Amazon or similar - I don't know anything about this but no doubt other members can advise you. A final point, do you want your pamphlet to make money or is the main idea to have it as a shop window to show to prospective publishers/agents?
