Reward-points are pointless, pardon the pun, after you have gone well past Level-4. Though reward-points can be exchanged for a free books, and a Level-4 member does qualifies for a 10% discount off a Bloomsbury literary event.
I have many thousands of reward-points, but they are as much use as GreenShield Stamps, or Cigarette Coupons - any one remember either of them?
Yes, the same thing has been happening to me. You probably also noticed that points are given solely at Writers and Artists discretion, and the rules can change at any time for any reason or none...so I haven't been bothering
