How can i write an interesting story about politics

Maybe you can start by watching TV shows about this subject to have ideas: The west wing was a good one, and currently you have House of Cards who is making a huge success !
Politics is a dirty game, but largely boring to the general public. It's the effect of political decisions that matters to them, not the dry workings of government itself.
Do you mean fiction? You have to exaggerate. Fiction is life heightened, whatever the subject. It's about good versus bad, up versus down - it's about contrasts. Write something that has extra intrigue, extra-bad villains, twisted plots... you can make a point about something real by making your characters come alive, and involving the reader in the events, even though they are fictionalised. When all's said and done, people read about people; your story should show how politics affect someone in a particular way - a way that they can identify with and understand. If your reader doesn't care about your characters, you've failed, whatever story you write.
If you mean non-fiction, you have to find a hook - one specific political point that you are trying to make, and have the resources to research thoroughly. Read good newspapers and topical magazines, and see how the writers there grab you - or don't.
