Can someone please tell me if 'Double Lined Spacing' on your manuscript is compulsory?
(No 'maybe, I don't know' answers please.)
Cheers!

Yes, check the submission guidelines when sending your work out as most agents will specify either 1.5 or double line spacing. Don't give them any reason to reject your manuscript before reading it :-)
For submitting to agents / editors? They usually ask for it, so it's becoming the standard. Query letters, etc. don't need to be, but the ms. itself should probably be double spaced. It makes it easier to read and edit.
