From what I gather, referring a friend would mean introducing your friend to this writer & artists' circle. And, it can be done by word of mouth, through email, via text messages etc. As I mentioned in my earlier post a day or two ago, if your friend is keen, he or she would definitely register to be a member.
This is how I see it. Perhaps some of the members of this circle may have different views pertaining to the question asked. It would be nice to view other explanations apart from what I mentioned above.
