Rewards Points

I've recently had an email telling me I have enough points to get a £12 discount on an event at the Bloomsbury Office. This is way beyond my reach. Travel to London from the north is expensive and I'd probably need overnight accommodation too. Is there any way points can be used for something else, eg a discount on one of your publications?

Hi Mary,

We understand that it may be difficult for you to get to London - so we would like to offer you a 15% discount on any one of our titles.

If you wish to purchase a book, please call on 0207 631 5985 and we'll be happy to apply the discount for you.

Best wishes,

The W&A Team

The email I received said:

*Ticket value for event must be £12 or less. If you’d like to attend an event that’s more expensive (such as our How To Get Published conference) then please get in touch at the number provided above and we’ll arrange a £12 reduction on the cost of your ticket. "

My main problem is the location rather than the cost of an event.

I'm curious, what percentage discount are they offering you? 10%, 20%, 100%?

Under "community guidelines - rewards points" it says that at level three you get "an invitation to attend an author event". I'd assumed that there would events taking place all over the UK, but obviously I've assumed wrongly.
