So, I have read the whole page of self-publishing and I still don't know what is that...

Any help?

Self publishing can be expensive. Choose wisely and well if you are contemplating it. Sometimes the quality isn't up to scratch. They often advertise for work without saying they are going to charge you. It is sprung at the last minute. On the other hand if they advertise as self publishers and you have belief in your work it may be a good thing to look round and take up one of the offers. Generally you are responsible for your own editing and marketing. personally I don't fancy it.

Self publishing is basically publishing the book by yourself . You don't get any advance money for it and you have to pay the publisher some part of the money(Royalty) you earn after selling books.

It can be E Books(Amazon) & Paperback(Createspace)..........

It means choosing to publish your book on your own - usually as an ebook via sites like Amazon, though often also as paperback. Self-publishing is different to 'traditional' where a company pays you and then publishes it on your behalf.
