Can we only post one piece at a time, with no links to previous chapters? How long is a good period to leave it up for feedback?
Thanks.

Just wondered if you were able to place more than one sub, kind of like a portfolio, that's all. I already use a very lively online workshop for full novels.
Thanks for the answers. :)
There's no specification in the rules as shown, Charlie, only a word limit. People have put up pieces, had feedback, and either edited the original or put up a second version. How many did you have in mind? Why not put up one, see how it goes, and then decide if you want to place another? You could delete the first, once you'd had as much critique as you want, and then add another.
If you're looking for a critique or comment on a whole novel, obviously this isn't the place.
Not everyone who comments will respond to all pieces - there aren't the hours in the day! Someone who likes Sci Fi may not want to comment on Romance, for example. It depends on who's looking in.
Hi Charlie,
I've wondered the same thing, particularly where pieces seemed to have been replaced, or the comments clearly don't relate to the existing piece. Maybe someone else knows the definitive answer to this.
From experience, most feedback seems to come fairly quickly. I guess you should leave something there until you feel you have enough feedback, or until you have something else you would like to receive feedback on.
Not sure this particularly helps, but I am curious as to whether more than one piece can be uploaded by any one person.
Mark.
