Shared work - feedback please?

Hi Everyone.

I've posted a brief (922 words) extract from my new MS in shared works. I've almost finished the 1st draft, but I've started wondering whether I've found the male character's 'voice' yet.

I'd appreciate any feedback if anyone has the time, or the inclination, to have a look.
