Sharing a small introduction of my work

Hello; My question is, what do I share here on W&A, a small snippet of what I'm working on i.e. a couple of paragraphs taken from somewhere within my work or a full chapter?

Replies

I can see (among many others) 2 widely different reasons for sharing a work here:

1) A bit of the book that you like, but aren't 100% satisfied with, hoping for helpful comments so that you can improve it.

2) A piece that you're really proud of, making your peers (and - who knows? - agents and/or publishers who might stumble onto these pages) want to read the whole of the work (and anything else you've written).

On the left is a menu: look down to 'Sharing your work' and it will tell you what you can post. It's up to you how much or how little, but it must be within the stipulated 3000 words. It depends on what feedback you want, and how representative your snippet would be.
