Short Sentence?

by John Wilson

The website still says 'shortly' as though it means it. Have I missed something? Should my short sentence really have been a very long one? Has the OED redefined the word 'shortly' to mean something like 'when the poles freeze over' or ' before the sun explodes', or something far more stranger than that? I keep having this vision of a ghost ship sailing the misty seas of the internet, then I see it isn't a ship at all, but the 'Short Sentence' website. Spooky.
