It's twenty five past ten Saturday night 15th Feb 2014 and for the very first time in my life I have sent something I have written to a competition. I know the chances of winning are so remote it's not worth looking at the outcome but I have at last done something with my "work" Paul.
I'm so pleased you have all found time to express your thoughts too. we all have hopes, but it is nice to know we are not on our own in feeling the excitement. I wonder how many entrants there is? and how many writers who are polished and know the ropes. I typed my story into the body of the e-mail just in case my letter was so poor the reader may not have bothered to open an attachment. just a thought! Now do I mean that is only a thought, or it only just manages to drag itself into the enlightened category of a thought? I think I will stop there I am making my brain hurt, too much thinking! Regards and the very best of luck. Paul.
Hi there Paul and may I say fellow writer. I submitted my entry at 22-54 almost to the wire. This is my first short short story let alone a competition, its exciting. I wish you and all the entrants, including myself the best of luck.
