Should I end my first book in a cliff hanger?

I'm writing a book, but the problem is I don't know if I should end it in a cliff hanger. I'm really happy about my work but I thought if I ended it with a little mystery it would be interesting and maybe I could write a sequel? But I want to know if the readers like it first before I start the second book. Should I end it in a cliff hanger??

I agree with Vicki as in the reader needs to feel satisfied, but as she also says if there has been a resolution before the cliff-hanger then it is fine.

I have decided that my book will end on a cliff-hanger as there will be a resolution before so I don't feel like I have cheated the reader.

Good luck
