Should I try to publish only in India, my native country? or Should I attempt to publish in UK/USA that is my preference?

Hi,

I live in India. My Novel is a literary work and set in India and China.. I have titled the book 'An Other Tale of Two Cities'; the two cities being Chennai in India and Shanghai in China. The book also is about two youngsters living in India with a zeal and talent setting their sights on winning the Gold medal at the Shanghai Games, beating the Chinese At their Game.

Should I have the book published only in India or would the book could be published in US/UK, where I would like to publish..
