Yes, absolutely. It is basically a step by step of your plot in chronological order, the agent will only look at it if they like your initial submission and want to see where you take the story. I know it can seem like you're giving all your secrets away, but it is part of the submission process. Hope that helps.

I agree with Adrian, everything in the book leads to the ending, and as he says, you only need outline significant plots threads that lead you that final word. Concentrate on main characters, referring to them by name, and any secondary characters by purpose or title, for instance, 'the bodyguard' or 'the guide' etc.
