Value For Money

Hi

I have recently completed a 78k work non-fiction manuscript and now I am preparing my agent submission pack.

Obviously I want to try my hardest to get this part right, as the saying goes "you never get a second chance to make a good first impression".

I recently came across the following service (http://www.agenthunter.co.uk/subscribe.html) on a sister site to http://www.writersworkshop.co.uk/. Has anyone had experience with such services and do the represent value for money?

Cheerio

I'm not quite there yet, but I've been doing my research on agents and agencies, so I know of the site. It's a pretty good place and it does have a big database of agents, so it can definitely be helpful.

That said, I'm registered there, but not subscribed, and it doesn't make that much of a difference for me. There's a couple of things I can't do, like save searches, but I don't think subscribing is necessary at all. Plus, they have the option to review their website on your blog or social media and get a 6-months membership for free, which sounds pretty neat.

Then again, their prices for monthly or six-month subscriptions aren't astronomically high, so if you think that the premium features it brings are something you need, it's probably worth it and I think they will deliver on what they promise.
