I keep hearing people saying about finding their 'voice' but want to know exactly what it means and how you know if you've found it. Any help will be appreciated :)

Lol... I was going to say pretty much the same as Jonathan... No point now.
'Voice' is one of those complex, indefinable things 'writers' talk about which worry newcomers.
In my view, it ought to be ignored. Voice comes out in your writing whether you like it or not and there's not much you can do about it.
Agents and publishers may say they're looking for a distinctive 'voice', but what most readers are interested in is a gripping story. Crack that and you're almost there. I saw a blog post recently which said a Pulitzer winner had sold 413 copies before getting the award, and 2000 subsequently.
The author might have had a voice, but it seems few wanted to listen.
I agree with Victoria.
I would add that your voice will become stronger, the more you edit your work.
