Ward off awkwardness ?

I am going to write about an awkward topic, sort of bit teenager's type but I am worried about what people who know me will say. I know my parents won't say anything to whatever I do but I am terribly worried to what others will comment/ say ?

What should I do ? Go on with this idea or drop it ?

Write for your self first, if you dont it will eat away at you. Also I have found that it is the either the fear of failure or success that drive us forward or backwards. Identify which one it is with you and then confront it!

Follow your own path Neeraj ... don't fear what others might say or think. :)

I agree with the guys. Write it first, because if you still feel unsure about it once you've finished only you will ever see it.

Writing sex scenes used to make me feel awkward - what if my wife's elderly aunt read them? Well, she did, and still treats me exactly the same rather than as some pervy porn merchant (they're actually very mild by modern standards, but still sex scenes).

You may find, as I did, once you've got words down on the page it's not as awkward a subject as you imagine.
