I apologise to everyone in advance if what I've just posted offend you, I assure you my intention is not to offend people but to inform them of how violent relationships can be. I try to write to inspire people and to touch people's emotions, something I hope to be much better one day but I do understand some people find certain topics hard to read. For those who don't want to read this specific piece of work I completely understand and do not in anyway find you rude, for those who do still read it thank you and as always any feedback is very much appreciated.

Victoria don't apologise for your writing! It's a depiction of true life for many people and if someone doesn't like the genre, they have the freedom to not read it. I'm with Paul on this one.
Have you seen the film 'Sleeping with the Enemy'? It covers similar ground.
Something to consider - would she meet up with her lover so easily after a 'treatment' from her husband? How can she trust the lover (or any man)? Perhaps a bit more build up of fear about meeting the lover, husband searching her bag to check for any clues and even husband checking her knickers when he questions if she's been with someone else when she arrives home a couple of minutes late from work. Build more tension and fear.
You have a great story in the making...! Enjoy writing and the journey.

Paul pretty much said it all. I second that, he's right! Writing as I see it, is a form of Self-expression. And thus, people should what ever they wish to, and nothing should stop them. That's the path to take.
