What about the middle?

We can all discuss the opening and closing chapters until we fall off our chairs with exhaustion.

But what about the middle of the book?

I've always operated under the idea that the main turning point should happen here.

Something which impacts and/or changes the story.

What do you think?

You've got your starter and dessert

The middle is the main course

Its got to keep the momentum going... otherwise you get bored and stop reading/eating?

How many times have I given up on a book like that

For me the middle has got to be the hardest part !

I think I would agree with you Debbie, it needs something major to keep the plot going
