When all looks down and out and you have exhausted the rejection letters what spurs you on to the next chapter?

I have a story to tell. I won't be satisfied until I have told it. I will keep honing my completed manuscript until I believe it's good enough to submit to agents and publishers. Nothing will deter me. I'm determined to be traditionally published or self-published.
I sort of envision my future as being the greatest author of all time or something, so yeah- that goal just never stops motivating me.
Ask yourself- Why did you do it in the first place? What were you hoping to achieve? Writing is hard and you can't just write a whole book with no motivation- So, why did you do it? Go back to that, the feeling you have at the core and when that feeling takes hold again- You're back for writing!
Think of your story, all of it's best parts and moments- the ones you like best- they will remind you just how important it is to publish them because that's what stories do- Take hold of you shake you up until you're up and writing.
Other people- praise over your work and your skill etc can do a great deal to put you back on track, so if you're ever tired or thinking too deep about writing, spend a li'l time away from it and have fun with others, family time, with friends etc. After that, you're bound to feel refreshed and better.
