What should happen next?

Hi Everyone,

I have recently wrote the seventh chapter on my book and I have uploaded it to shared work for you all to see. I was wondering if you could comment and tell me what you would write next as I'm a bit tongue tied on what should happen next.

Thank you :)

David,

Susan has given you good advice. Another option is to summarize each preceding chapter in a few sentences and then go on to writing your next chapter - eighth in your case. You could write an outline for this chapter, even if it's sketchy, it will enable you to move on to the ninth chapter. You can always go back and flesh out, edit and polish the chapter. That's something that you have to do in any case.

Hope this helps.

It would help if you know the beginning middle and end of your novel, then you can plan your chapters accordingly. It will ensure you keep to your plot and storyline.

Without a plan you will meander all over the place and go off on wrong tangents.
