I have my sister to thank for. She introduced me to books at a very early age. It was her way of instilling the reading habit. She felt that I need to learn to read in order to read to learn. How wise of her! I grew up with a deep passion for books and tried to read as much as I could then. Even when work commitments take up most of my time, I try to read a page or two every night before going to bed. The reading and writing skills are linked.
