Where do you Write at?

Where do you write at? Is there a certain spot on the couch where the words just flow more or at the coffee shop around the corner?

I am awful for getting distracted whilst writing, I still haven't really found a perfect place to write. Ideally I would like to find a nice quiet field with a big oak tree/willow tree and sit underneath and write or own a holiday home somewhere abroad where I can go and escape for a while and write my stories. At the moment I simply stay at home and write on my laptop whilst sat on my sofa.

I am glad you asked this question as I have always wondered where other people write their stories.

I forgot to add that I drink many cups of coffee. Many go cold as I become absorbed in my work and have to be emptied down the sink.

Being old-fashioned, I still use pens and pencils for writing and drawing; my favourite places are watering-holes around South Manchester and the Lake District, and especially if they can serve up Dunham Massey Brewery's Milk Stout.
