Where to start...

I have a lot of experience in writing (both corporate and creative) and have even written a couple of longer stories/novellas (the longest being 80,000 words). I now have a book idea that I am very enthusiastic about, I know the characters, written the outline, but I have no clue how to start! Why am I having writers block right at the start? Should I just start writing 'scenes' from the book that come up in my head and not necessarily in order? Thanks!

Just keep writing, so that you don't loose or forget any of your ideas. Writing scenes is a really good place to start. I always think how the first and ending chapter might read and have a go at writing these :)
