Matlida, Thanks for looking at it. I understood what Hopskin said. But that does not really matter; t is what an Editor can easily fixed. I can't write it in my dialect, Nigeria is a counry of many languages.

I agree with Jonathan Hopkins about the english translations but i also thought that the descriptions were brilliant and i could really picture. Good luck with it

I used to post on Authonomy a few years ago but found it gradually degenerated into a back-scratching exercise. So I gave up.

Anyway, I read your first chapter. It's not really my sort of book, so I'll leave others to comment on your ideas. The main issue, as I see others on Autho commented, is the English. It must be really difficult to write in a second language - I used a few French and Portuguese phrases in my first book and was criticised for some translations, so I sympathise. But I think unless you can find a translator, or at least a sympathetic editor up to speed with modern English usage, you will struggle to generate interest from publishers. It's not fair, I know, but then life generally isn't.

But I could be wrong (and often am). In any case, the best of luck with your story :)
