If you post it on "Shared Works" in this group, you will probably receive several helpful responses. I've had some really useful, detailed feedback, and I'm sure it's helping me improve my writing.

I have a lady who reads the same genre, read for me. She is very honest and it took awhile to understand that its the critism that makes me a better writer. I found her in a facebook group that I had joined.

So my advice would be to have someone who reads that genre read it, also someone who isn't a friend (they tend to be biased). If you meant for feedback. As for trusting someone to not steal your idea. I'm afraid I don't know, I guess its basic trust. I would always email it to the person who you choose to read. That way you have a timeline, to prove its your idea.

Hope that's of a little help :)
