Hi there fellow writers. Maybe this question have been answered before but can anyone please give me so information on how to write a synopsis. How long should it be? And how should it be structured? Thanks a lot.

A single page in 12 point or larger but you don't have to double space it. Maybe five paragraphs, three explaining the beginning, middle and end, one at the beginning to introduce and one to summarise. You have to give away the end, but that doesn't mean you can't leave the agent/publisher with questions they want to know the answers to. Always include the theme for the novel and what kind of reader you see best relating to the novel, either in the intro or summing up (although you can add this in your cover letter if you prefer.) Most importantly of all, you must tell them what you believe is different about your story to the other fifty in the pile. If you wrote a will they/won't they romance or a vampire novel, don't be defeated by how much competition you have. Every word should convince that this one has something the others don't and you won't do that by hiding your story in a load of waffle.

My advice would be to simplify your whole story into one sentence and then keep expanding that sentence until you have three paragraphs to introduce and summarise.
