Writing Web Application

Hi all,

I am a student at Imperial College London and I am currently working to develop a writing web application to help creative writers. We wish to create an online community of writers who help each other through the writing process (e.g. reviewing each other's work and helping fight through writer's block). What will set it apart from the many platforms already available to share stories (like this one) is that users will agree to 'review' at least one story (sent to them by the app) a month, such that every story posted by any user will get constructive feedback. There will be a system in place to ensure that most, if not all, reviews are constructive.

For more details on how the web app will work, please refer to this document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17poobGJ51h_1WqX41N71mgX6CLPRXIIoahaGWbn-L0k/edit?usp=sharing

Would you be open to using something like this? What would attract you the app? What features would you like included?

Masturah Azmi,

Your idea or proposition makes a lot of sense. It will be fascinating to find a crop of serious people reviewing each others' work objectively. Who knows? This community might be a great place for budding writers to come on board and get to be known. I'm a playwright with a couple of plays now looking for agents to point me out and hopefully get published. This might just be the starting point for other creative writers like me to begin. I'm interested.
