Parracombe Prize

Deadline date - 31st January 2023

1st November 2022 12:01am to 31st January 2023 11:59pm, Parracombe Community Trust

An annual international competition for short stories written in English. The top 35 stories will be published in our anthology. Running from 2020, the maximum length of story corresponds with the year (so for 2023 it will be 2023 words). There is no minimum length, but flash fiction might do better when entered in designated flash fiction competitions.

Entry costs of £5 per story are kept to a minimum to enable authors of modest means to participate. The stories are judged by a community of up ten judges and every story will be read by at least five of them.

This competition is run by the not-for-profit Parracombe Community Trust.

Please use the entry form here to submit your entry, and pay for it.
