This compilation of poetry/works is a heartfelt account of life in the eyes of the author.

From the summit of Mount Cotton in Queensland, the Australian poet Craig Lanyon published his collection titled "Thoughts from a Mountain." The author believes that this work is his greatest accomplishment to date, and he hopes that his readers will find inspiration in the same spot that he did: the panorama that can be seen from the summit of Mount Cotton in the state of Queensland in Australia. The author's life is recounted in a straightforward and emotionally touching manner in this collection of poetry and other works. This book was written with love, hope, and forgiveness in mind with the intention of assisting readers in putting into words what is so frequently lost through the accumulation of life experience gained from the University of Life.

Speaker profiles
Craig Lanyon

Craig Lanyon is a fifth-generation family from the land. My father was a city kid and the transformation to working the land with his in-laws must have been interesting. After a couple of years, he decided to start his own nursery as he wasn’t happy with the hard work on the farm was and still is a battle to get a good market price.
