How, and Why, to Research Agents

How, and Why, to Research Agents

How, and why, should you research research literary agents ahead of submitting your work to them? Join Laura Williams, literary agent at Greene & Heaton, to find out in our online lunchtime learning masterclass!

She'll take you through how to make the most of submission guidelines, manuscript wishlists, client lists and the acknowledgments pages in your favourite books. Laura will also talk about the importance of not just finding an agent, but finding the right agent for your book and, hopefully, the rest of your writing career. Plus she'll offer her expert insight into how to use your research to personalise your submission covering letter and make it really stand out to the agents you send it to.

This masterclass will take place online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place. The session will end with a brief Q&A, so come ready with your questions!
