How To Write Horror Fiction

What are you afraid of? Join acclaimed author Kirsty Logan in this workshop and explore the fundamental elements of writing in this genre.  Through a combination of practical advice, discussion, and writing exercises, Kirsty will take you through the steps of writing horror fiction. You'll learn how to develop the seed of an unsettling idea, discover how much you can leave to the reader's imagination through plotting and writing techniques, as well as analysing what makes a good horror story for the 21st century. Moving beyond old-fashioned ghost stories and classic thrills and chills, you'll leave this workshop ready to embrace the eerie and carve out your very own terrifying tale.
