Join author Sophie Tanner (Reader, I Married Me) to hear her discuss her creative process and how she brings humour into her writing.  
  
Sophie will offer tips and advice for writing humour, exploring different comedic styles and making your readers laugh.  
  
This engaging masterclass delves into how writers can develop a unique comedic voice on the page, exploring various humour styles such as wordplay, irony, and character-based humour.   
  
Sophie will share tips on balancing humour alongside an emotional storyline by looking at timing and pace. She’ll talk through her own publication journey and offer advice for writers who are looking to get their writing seen/ published. 
  
This masterclass will be online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.

This event is being run in collaboration with Book Aid International, with proceeds from ticket sales will go towards their Generation Reader campaign.
