Writing Popular Science
How can you write science in a way that is popular with a commercial audience?
In this evening masterclass, writer and academic Emma Chapman will delve into how to write science in a way that is accessible to, and popular with, a commercial audience. She'll share her top tips for divulging facts that will fascinate, and offer advice on structuring your research into a book that will take its readers on a journey. She'll discuss how to approach different types of subjects, drawing from her own experience as a researcher of both the first stars to light up our universe and gender equality. Plus she'll talk about her own writing process, and her journey to publication.
This masterclass will be online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.
