TORN OUT PAGES OF AN IMMORTAL STORY

The pulse left inside her story flashed to her mind

The words left unsaid grieved in the blind!

She flipped through the pages of the book of her life

and found that the memories remaining in strife

The color of her memories were shimmering with life,

that was woven with the dreams that made her paradise.

The pages were spilled with the color of night

that had the vigour with which her dreams got ignite

It wasn't the black that hides the vision,

but the black that brought out her own obsession

She reread the fabula inside the dark

from where her journey of life embarked.

Long long days and nights of fifteen

from where she took her pen of esteem

She added up lines that could build her prestige

to the book of her life that was always pristine

It wasn't that easy to remain as the queen

in her dream land with all the snags in between.

Still she remained to stay stubborn

in the hurdles that she met since the day she was born

And wrote her story of the trail to triumph

from where she is writing this with joy and galumph

It is always a mystery how she changed her history

by turning all the miseries to days of victory.

She still can't believe that the days have passed

and she has reached in her dreams that will remain everlast

She was brave and mulish during days in her past

and now she is flipping back to see how vast it was.

The colors that painted her life remain contrast

but she is relishing her present with a colorful blast.

With the buzz of joy she is grooving right now;

she decided to praise with some lines and bestow

to her beloved former self with regard and adore

the lady who will remain as a synonym of love.

"For the times you remained fearless and courage

I present you the best lines that my pen could engrave"

You are the reason why I am happy right now

You are the one who made me dream with a pen, and sow

the seeds that have grown into gardens of love

and reap my dreams with the tool that you endow

When I realized that your days of distress made me what I am today,

I decided to pin back all the pages I took away.

Thank you for leading through the days of sorrow

and I love you until I wish the world my last morrow.
