GOOD question. So far it doesn't happen. The technology exists. I know that Jimmy gets notification of "likes" on FB for comments that he made months ago... and had virtually forgotten. (I'm not on FB, just saying that the technology is evidently possible.)
We can easily keep tabs on our own "shared works", but we can't search our input on past Q&As... unless we remember the phrasing and use a general Internet search machine.
